The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for the endātoāend management of fire door projects, ensuring high standards of compliance, safety, and execution. This includes oversight of planning, resourcing, and installation/inspection activities across multiple concurrent sites. The role is pivotal in maintaining timelines, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring regulatory and quality standards are consistently met.
Core Responsibilities
- Implementing best practices using your construction experience.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships, working closely with our Director of Fire Doors, the installation teams and all suppliers ensuring jobs run smoothly, whilst managing and meeting customer expectations.
- Ensuring high quality delivery on site.
- Proactively managing risks.
- Ensuring rigorous compliance with safety standards.
- Leading and empowering project teams to deliver high quality outputs every time and a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple fire door projects simultaneously across diverse sites.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact between field teams, administration, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Head of Fire Doors to support potential sales opportunities to ensure customer needs are understood and managed.
- Work closely with the Fire Door Compliance Officer to ensure the installations and inspections are to the certified standards with all relevant paperwork completed.
Team Supervision & Resource Allocation
- Lead and mentor the field operations team, providing performance feedback.
- Coordinate daily activities with the administration and scheduling teams to optimise workforce deployment.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of tools, vehicles, and materials for each site.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all onāsite documentation (installation, inspection, and compliance records) is completed to specification and in a timely manner.
- Uphold all Health & Safety requirements and ensure safe site practices are followed.
- Report risks, incidents, or nonācompliances using established systems and communicate findings promptly.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the key liaison for clients, ensuring clear communication, professional conduct, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the engineering and quality assurance teams to maintain Fireco's ISO:9001 standards.
- Provide detailed project reports and progress updates to senior leadership.
Technical and Managerial Competencies
- Strong understanding of construction sites and CDM requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and teams across multiple locations.
- Skilled in resource planning and prioritising tasks under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using digital tools and systems for project tracking and reporting.
