What you’ll be doing:
In this role you will be a Cyber Security Subject Matter Expert/Instructor able to demonstrate these essential accreditations, skills and attributes. As such, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering world class training courses for which you must be certified/qualified to the standards required.
- Continually developing expertise across multiple fields through personal development and accreditation activities.
- Developing peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking and engage with the community relating to your area of expertise.
- Training to high quality and organisational standards in order for delegates to achieve outlined objectives and pass the examinations.
- Liaising with other Instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the Learning Resources Manager (LRM) to identify curriculum updates and enhancements.
- Creating justification proposals for submission to the Firebrand Training Product Team to support learner needs and outcomes.
- Employing Technical Authoring capabilities to contribute to the development/revision of appropriate curriculum.
- Working with Firebrand Product Managers to ensure that courseware and other supporting materials for courses delivered are appropriately maintained.
- Supporting fellow Instructors and the Curriculum Manager in the adoption of new products.
- Working with Vendor Partners and Customers to develop and deliver suitably appropriate training solutions.
- Supporting the business in conception, development and maintenance of internal systems to drive efficiency.
- Ensuring all appropriate Education systems are updated with relevant learner information following course delivery.
- Providing feedback on learner engagement and learning outcomes.
- Classroom provisions for SEND.
- Performing any additional duties reasonably requested by management to support the needs of the business.
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you will need to have a proven track record in the following areas:
- CHFI – Forensic investigator
- CEH – Ethical hacker
- CPSA – Security Analyst
- CISMP – Security Management principles
- Minimum 2 years working within Cyber security.
- Minimum 2 years working with EC-Council product.
- Highly focused and self‑motivated individual.
- Flexibility towards working hours.
Working Hours/Overtime:
You will be engaged in duties classified as either Development/Preparation Days (typically 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday) or Teaching Days (typically starting on a Sunday evening and working 9:00am to 9:00pm through the duration of the course which may include weekends and Bank Holidays). Taking into account your annual leave and bank holiday entitlement, your working days will be a maximum of 229 reducing by 1 day each year up to 5 years of service, with a Teaching Day measured as 1.5 working days. Overtime is payable for additional hours worked.
Please note the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and qualification check.
