We are looking for a versatile and practical individual to join our small marine industry business. This is a varied role where electrical assembly forms only part of the position, alongside technical support, quality, and stock-related responsibilities.

This full-time, on-site position is located in Poole and involves both electrical assembly and technical support. The Electrical Assembler/Technical Support Assistant will be responsible for the assembly of electronic equipment, including soldering and panel wiring, as well as the use of power and hand tools. Additional responsibilities include assisting with mechanical assembly tasks and providing technical support as needed to ensure operational functionality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical assembly, wiring, and basic testing of marine products as part of the production process.
  • Provide first-line technical support to customers, assisting with product setup, troubleshooting, and general technical queries.
  • Test, fault‑find, and document returned products as part of the warranty returns process.
  • Support ISO‑compliant quality activities, including following documented procedures, completing quality records, and assisting with continuous improvement actions.
  • Assist with stock control oversight, including receiving goods, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting stock accuracy.
  • Contribute to general workshop and operational tasks as required in a small‑team environment.

  • Experience in electrical assembly or electro‑mechanical work.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and commitment to safety standards.
