About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive our business growth across EMEA. As an early member of our team, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, representing Firebolt to digital-native companies, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy across the region.
About the day to day
- Develop and execute a territory plan targeting digital-native high tech organizations, including AI, Saas, ISVs, Gaming, Fintech, Adtech, and other fast-growing industries across EMEA.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations, including engineering and IT leaders.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing, ensuring a high-touch and consultative approach.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, SDRs, and product, to generate leads and build pipeline.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate Firebolt’s unique value proposition to potential customers.
- Provide insights into market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to shape our go-to-market strategy in EMEA.
- Represent Firebolt at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build awareness and network with potential customers.
- This is a quota carrying role and you will carry a quota for Bookings, Consumption and New customers.
Requirements:
- 6–10 years of experience in B2B software sales, with a focus on data warehouse, cloud infrastructure, or related technologies
- Proven success in multiple quota carrying roles in software sales – Cloud, AI, SaaS
- Proven success selling into digital-native companies, including AI, SaaS, fintech, gaming, adtech, and startups.
- Knowledge of data warehouse technologies and cloud computing.
- A deep understanding of the EMEA market and the ability to navigate the diverse business landscape across key regions like the UK, Germany, France, and the Nordics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A bonus if you have
- Familiarity with selling to engineering teams and C-suite executives.
- Experience with startups or fast-scaling organizations is a plus.
- Multilingual proficiency (e.g., German, French) is a strong advantage.
