As Firebird’s Regional Marketing Director, you'll own marketing for Firebird Label Services across GSA, Benelux, and the Nordics—translating global artist strategy into culturally sharp, commercially effective campaigns that connect with local audiences. We’re looking for a trailblazer who will build a high-performing vendor ecosystem, drive sustained artist growth beyond release spikes, and establish Firebird as a credible cultural force across the region. This role requires someone who can operate autonomously as Firebird's regional marketing authority while staying tightly connected to the international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sustained regional audience growth across GSA, Benelux, and the Nordics by moving priority FBLS artists beyond release-cycle spikes into consistent, measurable performance across streaming, radio, and cultural platforms.
  • Execute high-impact regional marketing campaigns that translate global strategy into locally resonant execution—managing media, radio, digital, and cultural activations that deliver clear commercial results and build long-term artist presence.
  • Coordinate with relevant partners to create stellar DSP pitches that ensure the best possible positioning, product optimization, and release visibility. Share DSP pitches with Firebird’s label services team as well as distribution, artist, and label partners.
  • Build and manage a reliable regional vendor network that delivers consistent execution, strong ROI, and clear accountability across all marketing activity—selecting, briefing, and holding partners to high standards.
  • Elevate Firebird's cultural visibility and credibility in the region through compelling artist storytelling, smart activations, and standout moments that position both artists and Firebird as culturally relevant players.
  • Serve as Firebird's regional marketing intelligence source, providing clear market insight, campaign performance analysis, and strategic input that informs international planning, investment decisions, and roster development.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of music marketing experience with at least 3 years executing regional campaigns across GSA, Benelux, and/or Nordic territories—proven track record of delivering campaigns that move consumption metrics and build sustained artist presence.
  • Direct market expertise in at least two of the three regional clusters (GSA, Benelux, Nordics), including fluency in regional media landscapes, radio ecosystems, playlist dynamics, and cultural touchpoints.
  • Native or business-level language proficiency in English and German.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets with clear examples of prioritizing spend, tracking ROI, and optimizing performance based on campaign data and market feedback.
  • Proven ability to build and manage vendor relationships across DSPs, media buyers, PR agencies, radio promoters, and digital specialists—demonstrated success selecting partners, setting clear expectations, and holding them accountable to deliverables and budget.
  • Portfolio of successful artist storytelling across earned media, digital platforms, and cultural activations—specific examples of campaigns where your narrative work broke through regionally and created measurable impact on artist perception or commercial performance.
  • Experience operating autonomously within international or distributed teams, managing your own workload across multiple markets and time zones while staying aligned with global strategy—comfortable working remotely with clear communication practices.
