We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong pizza background in multi-site management and team development. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our stores nationwide, lead a team of Area Managers, and ensure our pizzas are consistently crafted to perfection and served quickly, adhering to the highest standards.
Part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective business strategies, driving growth, managing resources, ensuring operational consistency, optimising processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and aligning store operations with the ambitious growth plans of Fireaway Pizza.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure the operational manual includes all relevant practices, policies, and guidelines and aligns with current industry standards.
- Develop and implement processes that enhance efficiency and drive consistency across all operations.
- Establish effective measures to monitor and assess quality, ensuring consistent standards are met throughout the estate.
- Implement measures to achieve quick and accurate delivery of products to customers, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations across all locations, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Provide continuous coaching and constructive performance feedback to area and store managers to boost team effectiveness and drive results.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, including optimising labour, controlling costs, and enhancing profitability.
- Foster a customer-centric culture by delivering friendly, efficient service to maintain and grow the customer base, while ensuring stores actively engage in customer-focused programs and maintain a strong community presence.
- Analyse store performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify and drive new sales growth opportunities through the implementation of targeted marketing strategies and district-level development plans.
- Ensure consistent product quality, superior customer experience, and timely service at all locations.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies to improve cooking efficiency, order processing, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams on new menu items and seasonal promotions.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across all restaurants.
- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- Analyse financial reports and key performance metrics to pinpoint opportunities for operational improvement and growth.
- Lead the opening of new stores, including managing budgets, staffing, and operational setups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role within the pizza industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple locations and teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, and profitability improvement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Passion for food quality, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Experience with franchise operations is a must.
