About the Opportunity: The organisation is a long-standing and leading independent Chartered Accountancy firm which provides comprehensive tax and accountancy services to a variety of individuals and businesses across a range of sectors throughout the country. They are currently seeking a professional who will join them as Tax Manager.
About the Responsibilities: Joining as Tax Manager you will be reporting into the Senior Tax Manager and responsible for:
- Corporation tax compliance ranging from OMB's to PLC multi-national groups
- Personal tax compliance ranging from sole traders to high-net-worth individuals who are non-resident with various complex tax structures
- Tax advisory from personal remuneration planning to corporate group restructures
- Tax enquiries
- Research and development claims
- Responsible for managing staff
- Holding client meetings if that’s something of interest
- Responsible for billing clients
- Managing client and third-party relationships
- Portfolio management and meeting key deadlines
- Potential to get involved in firm wide corporation tax training
- Tax provisions for corporate clients
About the Applicant: As the successful applicant, you will:
- Have practical experience of delivering high-quality tax compliance services to Private Clients
- Have exposure to supporting or leading planning projects
- This will ideally be complemented by a relevant professional qualification, such as ATT and/or CTA
- You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team whilst utilising your own initiative
