Joining as a Junior Accountant, you will be providing bookkeeping and business support services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries. You will be working under the guidance of the Accountant and Client Manager to assist with the provision of the following services:
- Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc
- Processing of bank payments
- Preparation and submission of VAT, CIS and Self-Assessment returns to HMRC
- Submission of annual Confirmation Statements to Companies House
- Helping with the production of monthly management accounts and other ad hoc financial reporting
- Maintaining cash flow forecasts
