About the Opportunity: Due to ongoing growth, our clients are looking for an AAT accountant to support with their portfolio. They are looking for a steady candidate to join their accounts team.
About the Responsibilities: Joining as an AAT Accountant, you will be providing accountancy and business support services to a portfolio of clients, operating across various industries. You will be working under the guidance of the Senior Accountants to assist with the provision of the following services:
- Managing workflow to meet deadlines
- Accurate recording of all financial transactions through ledger postings, nominal journals, bank reconciliations etc
- Processing client records to software including QuickBooks & Xero
- Calculate & make adjustments for depreciation, prepayments, accruals & tax provision
- File VAT returns with HMRC & within accounting data
