About the Company: Our client is an ICAEW member firm and growing accountancy practice which strives to offer their clients a personal, professional service supporting their clients by providing a complete outsourced finance function, along with year-end compliance work and business advisory. They have been established for approximately 15 years and are based in a brand new (built in 2020) office in an idyllic Buckinghamshire village with free, unlimited parking. This is an office-based role ongoing with occasional client visits.

About the Opportunity: They are looking to expand their team with a new recruit and are looking for an ambitious candidate to join them.

About the Responsibilities: Joining as Accounts Supervisor you will be reporting into the Director and will be responsible for:

  • Preparing client’s books up to trial balance level including posting of monthly journals such as accruals/prepayments/depreciation etc.
  • Reconciling balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Preparing year-end financial statements and associated corporation tax returns
  • Preparing sole trader accounts and self-assessment tax returns

About the Applicant: As the successful applicant, you will:

  • Have three years experience in an accountancy practice
