The Role
Content and social media are central to Gaucho’s brand marketing strategy and provide a window into our restaurants, people and guest experiences.
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic
Content & Social Media Manager to lead Gaucho’s content and organic social presence from end to end, based in uor Central London Head Office (5 minutes' walk from Oxford Circus).
Sitting at the intersection of brand, community, creativity and growth, you will shape how Gaucho’s story is told across our social platforms.
You will balance long-term brand building with commercial impact, ensuring our content reflects Gaucho’s premium positioning and evolving brand direction.
Working closely with an external consultant or agency, alongside our wider marketing, commercial and operations teams, you will deliver a cohesive and impactful content, community and social media strategy.
This role is based at our London Head Office, conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Oxford Circus, with travel to our restaurants and attendance at key events and brand activations when required.
- What You’ll Do
- Own and manage Gaucho’s content and organic social media presence across all key platforms.
- Deliver the overarching social media strategy with support from an external consultant or agency.
- Develop and implement a best-in‑class content strategy aligned with Gaucho’s brand direction and business objectives.
- Generate original content and social media ideas, leading delivery from concept through to execution.
- Create high‑quality day‑to‑day content using video and photography equipment.
- Brief and manage creative partners where additional support is required.
- Balance long‑term brand storytelling with short‑term commercial priorities, including campaigns, launches and key trading moments.
- Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to support integrated, multi‑channel paid campaigns.
- Oversee multi‑platform content plans, adapting the tone of voice, format and approach for audiences across Meta, Tik Tok, Linked In and emerging platforms.
- Set and maintain consistently high creative standards across all content and social media activity.
- Lead community management, encouraging engagement, conversation and brand loyalty.
- Attend key events, restaurant moments and brand activations to capture premium, on‑brand content.
- Monitor cultural shifts, platform developments and competitor activity to inform our content direction.
- Develop monthly content calendars, using performance insights and learnings to shape future ideas.
- Track, analyse and report on content and social media KPIs, turning data into clear and actionable recommendations.
- What We’re Looking For
- Three to four years’ experience managing social media for a hospitality, luxury or lifestyle brand.
- Strong knowledge of social platforms, formats and culture, with a clear understanding of audience behaviour across different channels.
- Experience working across both organic and paid social media strategies.
- A highly creative approach, supported by strong storytelling skills and a clear editorial point of view.
- Hands‑on content creation experience, with confidence using video and photography equipment.
- A strong understanding of content and social media from both cultural and commercial perspectives.
- Confidence working with data, analytics and performance reporting.
- Experience managing multi‑platform campaigns.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Experience using content planning, social media management and analytics tools.
- The flexibility to attend events and visit restaurants to capture content when required.
