The opportunity
We are looking for a creative, highly organised and social-first Content & Social Media Executive to join our Marketing team based in our Central London Head Office (5 minutes’ walk from Oxford Circus)
Working closely with the Content & Social Media Manager and Senior Marketing Manager, you will help bring Gaucho’s social channels to life.
From spotting the next Tik Tok trend and writing engaging copy to filming behind the scenes in our restaurants, you will capture the people, food, drinks and moments that make Gaucho distinctive.
This is a varied, hands-on opportunity for someone who is full of ideas and keen to build their career in social media and content within a fast-paced hospitality brand.
- What you’ll do
- Content and social media
- Support the day-to-day delivery of Gaucho’s organic social channels, including Instagram, Tik Tok and Linked In.
- Act as a key creative voice for Gaucho on Tik Tok, identifying trends, formats and culturally relevant opportunities that can introduce the brand to new audiences.
- Create, film and edit engaging social-first content across our restaurants, events, launches and key brand moments.
- Adapt campaign assets into content designed specifically for different social platforms.
- Work with restaurant teams, chefs, bartenders and the People team to uncover stories, personalities and moments worth sharing.
- Write engaging captions, Linked In posts and other social copy in Gaucho’s tone of voice.
- Support the delivery of the monthly content calendar, including scheduling and publishing.
- Assist with community management, helping to encourage engagement and conversation across our channels.
- Stay close to emerging trends, sounds, formats and cultural moments, identifying opportunities for relevant and reactive content.
- Content shoots and creative production
- Help plan and deliver photography, video and social content shoots, including preparing briefs, shot lists and schedules.
- Coordinate dishes, drinks, products and other requirements with front and back of house teams ahead of each shoot.
- Source props, styling items and other creative materials.
- Attend shoots and provide hands-on production support.
- Capture additional behind-the-scenes and social-first content throughout each shoot.
- Coordination and reporting
- Maintain content calendars, trackers and shared documents.
- Coordinate restaurant visits, content capture and shoot logistics.
- Communicate clearly with restaurant teams and external creative partners.
- Organise products, samples, menus, props and couriers to keep the content function running smoothly.
- Support social reporting, presentations and internal marketing updates.
- What we’re looking for
- One to two years’ experience in social media, content or a related marketing role. Relevant internships and placements will also be considered.
- A strong understanding of Tik Tok and Instagram, including what makes content feel engaging and native to each platform.
- Confidence filming and editing short-form video, including producing high-quality content using an i Phone.
- Experience using content creation and editing tools such as Cap Cut and Canva.
- Strong writing skills and an interest in copywriting and brand storytelling.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- A collaborative and enthusiastic approach.
- Confidence working behind the camera and, where appropriate, appearing in social content.
- Flexibility to travel regularly to Gaucho restaurants to capture content.
