GAUCHO are looking for experienced and passionate Head Chefs to join our Central London team. You will need to be experienced in working as a Head Chef in a fresh food kitchen and be extremely passionate about food. Our Head Chefs have experience managing a team, running the kitchen and working in a fast‑paced environment. They must be able to deliver high quality dishes following a spec and have a genuine passion for cooking.

Key Responsibilities of the GAUCHO Head Chef:

  • Full commitment to industry leading beef knowledge
  • Regulation of receiving of goods and the temperature of the items being received
  • Being responsible for product consistency and dish presentation management
  • Ongoing research regarding new trends in the market
  • Being in charge of general staff recruitment and inspirational training
  • Commitment to team development and appraisals
  • Health & Safety management including legally required training/risk assessment adherence and equipment maintenance (internal and external)
  • Ordering, receiving, storing, controlling and counting of all food stocks
  • Commitment to consistently maintaining strong guest feedback and mystery diner results
  • Ensure daily staff food is varied, nutritious and well received
