A well-established engineering company based in Newton Aycliffe is looking to recruit a motivated and reliable Welder Fabricator to join our growing team. Experience in the fabrication of doors, screens, and windows would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate who shows enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
Duties will include:
- All aspects of steel fabrication
- Working with sheet metalwork
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings
- Welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium using MIG and TIG processes
- Operating Press Brake, Guillotine, Plasma, and Laser cutting machinery
- Sanding, grinding, sawing, drilling, pressing, painting, and preparation work
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workshop safety
