Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer
We are offering a fully funded training programme to prepare you for the EAL Level 3 Award in the Requirements of Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for Buildings. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, responsible, can communicate effectively, and understands the importance of maintenance on life safety equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist in the planned maintenance and repairs of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and associated equipment.
- To support qualified engineers and gain practical experience on site.
- To learn and adhere to British Standards and industry best practices.
- To develop skills in fault finding, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Enthusiastic, practically minded, and keen to learn.
- A responsible attitude towards safety-critical systems.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to achieve a first-time fix when faced with problems.
Training and Development:
- Full in-house training provided by experienced engineers.

Additional Information:
- A clean driving licence is required (except minor speeding offences).
