Fire Prevention Sprinklers Ltd. is seeking an experienced Salesperson to join our team in Edinburgh, specialising in selling our premium fire sprinkler systems to housing developers across Scotland.

The Role
As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with housing developers, architects and councils to promote our fire sprinkler systems. You will play a crucial role in growing our client base and increasing revenue through consultative sales approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential housing development projects requiring fire sprinkler installations
- Contact clients to arrange meetings and secure opportunities to quote for projects
- Prepare and present comprehensive proposals and quotations
- Follow up on quotations and effectively close sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Stay informed about industry standards, particularly BS9251:2021 and 2018
- Collaborate with our design team to ensure client specifications are met
- Report on sales activities and forecasts
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within construction or fire safety sectors
- Existing relationships with housing developers and builders would be highly advantageous
- Understanding of fire sprinkler systems and relevant standards (BS9251:2021 and 2018) is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Self-motivated with a drive to achieve sales targets
- Well-organised with effective time management skills
- Charismatic approach to closing sales
