Our client is a beautiful luxury care home near Chichester, recognised for delivering exceptional care alongside outstanding hospitality and restaurant-quality dining. They are now looking for an experienced Second Chef / Sous Chef to join their talented kitchen team.
The Role
As the Sous Chef you will be working alongside the Head Chef to help deliver fresh, nutritious, beautifully presented meals for residents and guests while supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen. What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Second Chef/2nd Chef, or Senior Chef de Partie
- Fresh food background within a quality restaurant, hotel, gastro pub, or care home
- Care home and IDDSI knowledge desirable but not essential
- Strong pastry and baking skills
- Passion for quality food and presentation
- Organised, reliable, and team-focused
Qualifications Preferred
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
