We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established hospitality venue seeking a talented Head Chef to lead its busy kitchen operation. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied food offering spanning a café, bar, weddings, private functions, and events. With a modern production kitchen and a growing events calendar, this role offers plenty of scope for creativity, leadership, and career development.
The Role
- Leading all kitchen operations and ensuring consistently high food standards.
- Designing and developing menus across café, bar, and event offerings.
- Managing food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen performance.
- Overseeing weddings and events catering for up to 120 guests, with larger functions hosted in marquee facilities.
- Recruiting, training, and developing kitchen staff.
- Managing stock, ordering, GP targets, and food costs.
- Maintaining food hygiene, health and safety, and compliance standards.
- Working closely with the management team to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking for their next step into a Head Chef position.
- Strong menu development and costing experience.
