Regional Fundraiser (part time) – Northern Scotland. Ideal locations include near Aberdeen or Inverness to allow travel across the North of Scotland.

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. We provide confidential, personalised support to the whole of the fire services community, whether that’s at our centres, over the phone, online or out in communities.

We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser to join our national team, who can inspire the diverse communities across the North of Scotland to unite support for their fire community. As an Employee of the Charity, we pride ourselves on ensuring you have great employee benefits along with a caring and supportive working environment.

  • £2,040 per annum Car Allowance (Ts & Cs apply)
  • Pension: 8% pension contributions (All pension contributions are paid by the Charity on your behalf. No employee contribution is required, though can be made through a salary sacrifice scheme)
  • Paid Annual leave: 25 days’ holiday rising to 27 plus Bank Holidays (pro rata)

Building relationships with the fire and rescue services in your area, you’ll become an integral part of the local fire services community. You’ll join a nation-wide team of inspiring and innovative fundraisers, working collaboratively to secure the much-needed income for the Charity.

Helping to coordinate events, support fundraising initiatives and implement new ideas, you’ll support your people, stations, and offices to raise awareness of the Charity and achieve and exceed income targets, as well as working with local businesses and people to maximise our fundraising potential. By generating the income we need to realise our ambitions, you will help us to be there for even more members of the fire and rescue community.

This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Services Check. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative fundraiser to join our team, full of ideas and a positive attitude. You’ll need excellent business and project planning skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt your communication style to your audience.

You’ll be responsible for maximising the potential fundraising income from every initiative you support, so you must be able to effectively engage with multiple stakeholders and build strong networks. You’ll also be able to support and inspire our volunteers, ensuring that these vital links between our Charity and the fire and rescue services are happy and fulfilled in their roles.

Reporting to the Regional Fundraising Manager, you’ll be an excellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. Please apply online, via our recruitment portal.
