22.5 hours a week (worked over a 4 week rota pattern)
- Week 1 – Monday, Saturday 08.00- 16.00 and Sunday 09.00 -17.00
- Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 08.00 -16.00
- Week 3 – Monday 08.00 -16.00 Saturday and Sunday 09.00-17.00

We have a vacancy for a Maintenance Person to join our small Estates Team at our residential centre, in Littlehampton.
About the role
As a Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our recovery centre is maintained to the highest possible standard. Working as part of a small team, you will share responsibility for the maintenance, upkeep and appearance of Marine Court, including the main centre and swimming pool facilities.
This varied and hands-on role involves carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, basic plumbing, decorating and fault finding. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining swimming pool systems, including taking water readings, adjusting dosing levels and backwashing filters. Full training will be provided for pool plant operations where required.
In addition, you will undertake a range of statutory compliance checks, including fire alarm testing and legionella monitoring, ensuring all records are maintained accurately. The role also involves liaising with external contractors, escalating maintenance issues where appropriate, and supporting the overall safety, functionality and presentation of the site.

Experience of working undertaking maintenance tasks in a similar estates and facilities environment would be beneficial.
H&S, COSHH and manual handling training would also be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
