Full time Sales Estimator

Job Summary:

Fire Fighter 24/7 are a family run business who specialise in domestic and residential sprinkler systems and dry riser installations.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating project costs and preparing accurate estimates to support our business objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of cost control.

Duties:

• Review Customer specifications
• Completing bespoke AutoCAD quotations of fire sprinkler systems, to applicable recognised standards
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analysing blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Assess materials, labour, and overhead costs to develop precise forecasts.
• Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or client requirements.
• Uploading the relevant information to our Construction Management Software

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Preferred 2D AutoCAD experience (but not essential).
