Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join our team in Coleshill, Birmingham. This will be a full-time office-based role. The candidate should have experience in an account’s role and knowledge of Xero accounting would be beneficial. Responsibilities * Record daily financial transactions * Complete bank reconciliation * Monitor transactions for irregularities * Post purchase invoices to accounts * Reconcile supplier ledgers to statements and liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries * Prepare client statements * Weekly reporting on credit control, to include chasing overdue accounts with calls, letters and LBA for timely payments * Manage expenses and process credit card transactions * Prepare and submit business activity statements (BAS) * Complete quarterly VAT returns * Reconcile Paye and P32s to HMRC portal each month * Answering calls in relation to finance and supporting the team across other functions * Supporting external accountants with providing data and analysis as requested by line manager Package * £25-£30K salary * 20 days holiday + Christmas shutdown * Company pension * Westfield Healthcare scheme
