Fire Compliance Plus is an independent and impartial consulting service provider in passive fire (Firestopping, Boarded Systems, Coatings etc.). Established in early 2019 under the leadership of Founder David Lamb, the company offers independent and impartial technical advice, guidance, technical solutions and support at both the design and construction phases. Fire Compliance Plus focuses on delivering robust, compliant, impartial and auditable fire‑stopping and passive fire protection technical engineered solutions to the highest industry standards to trusted installers, supply chain partners, and end‑user clients that include some of the largest construction companies in the UK. Our continued year on year growth is testament to our exceptionally robust processes, competent staff and exceptional network in the UK, Europe and around the world.
The Technical Consultant will form part of our ever‑expanding Technical Team and will play a key role in supporting clients through passive fire protection consultancy, ensuring that compliance, robust detailing, and safety are at the forefront of everything FCP does. The role will have responsibility for key account and project management across all stages of a project, from early engagement all the way through to hand over and beyond. The role will require an elevated level of technical input, and detail‑oriented problem solving of firestopping and passive fire protection queries as well as continuous improvement of the processes and procedures we adhere to. The role will also require being able to manage customer relations and ensure that outputs can be delivered in a timely, efficient, and compliant manner. The role will be predominantly remote based, with some client site visits required where necessary.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years passive fire protection experience.
- Ability to work individually as well as excellent collaborative working as part of the larger team.
- Knowledge and experience and passion relating to passive fire protection products/systems, regulatory standards, and compliance of application of these systems to the relevant standards.
- Great attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- A drive to commit to FCP goals and grow the business.
- Access to own vehicle.
