Fire Suppression Operations Manager

Based in Derbyshire/ Nottinghamshire/ South Yorkshire

Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance or Company Car

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a strategic shift – bringing fire suppression system installations in-house and building a high-performing team from the ground up. Stable company, Lots of Support, and permanent long term role.

The Mission – Fire Suppression Operations Manager

Our client currently relies on external contractors for suppression system installations.

Your role will be to:

– Lead and manage those external teams in the short term

– Quote and oversee delivery of fire suppression projects and operations

– Recruit, develop, and retain a permanent team of Suppression Engineers

– Build an in-house function that reduces contractor dependency

– Use your Fire Suppression skills to advise and lead

Who We\’re Looking For as Head of Fire Suppression/ Fire Operations Manager…

You\’ll be a confident, experienced manager with a background in managing Fire Suppression Engineers. You\’ll understand the technical and operational demands of suppression systems and have the credibility to lead both contractors and newly recruited staff.

Key Requirements – MUST have Fire Suppression and Management skills

– Proven management experience in fire suppression installation

– Strong quoting and project delivery skills

– Ability to recruit and build a team from scratch
