Position Overview: Fire Alarm Systems Design Estimator - WFH and London
Our client specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Work on complex and interesting Life Safety Projects / Fire Alarms.
They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fire Alarm Design Engineer / Fire Alarm Estimator to join their team and work from home / survey in London.
Duties include:
- Reading and understanding tender specifications and contract documents.
- Designing associated Life Safety systems such as emergency voice communication systems.
- Generating cost build-up.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, manufacturers, and internal staff.
- Attending client meetings.
- Managing own workload prioritization.
As a key member of the Fire Detection Team, you will play a crucial role in estimating, pricing, and providing solutions for Fire Alarm systems projects.
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Design Engineer / Estimator of Fire Alarm systems to BS5839 / BAFE / BS 5839 standards in the UK.
- Proficiency in fire alarm system design, specifically in estimating Fire Detection systems.
- Ability to work from home or from offices, with the flexibility to be commutable to London when needed for surveys or information collection.
