Fire Safety Compliance / Fire Protection / Detection Service Sales Business Development Manager

Location: Scotland and North East (other regions include Yorkshire/North West, Sussex and South Coast, South Wales, or South East and Home Counties)

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 DOE + Commission and Permanent Benefits

Car Allowance: £6,000 or Company Car

Commission: Yes – On Revenue and well rewarded (if you have Fire Safety sales experience)

Leads: 20% provided, with opportunities to generate new clients, focusing 80% on new business development

Industry: Must have Fire compliance sales experience selling Fire Risk assessments, Passive Fire solutions, Fire Alarm systems, Fire service contracts, or extinguishers at an account level

Sales Target: Generate £600,000 to £2 million of Fire sales in the UK

You can sell across verticals such as Hospitals, National Accounts, Shopping centres, Leisure, Retail, Data centres, or other sectors where you have contacts, to secure contracts for your FIA/BAFE Fire protection company.

Company: A national dedicated Fire Protection and Detection (Fire Safety/Fire Compliance) company committed to building a passionate team of sellers. Their mission is to provide comprehensive fire compliance solutions, ensuring safety and peace of mind, and they seek local people who can sell, consult, listen, and become trusted Fire Compliance partners. If you\’ve worked for another Fire Detection/Fire Protection company but aren\’t getting the support or rewards you deserve, this could be a fresh start.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Selling a range of fire safety products and maintenance contract services, including fire extinguishers, fire alarms, passive fire protection, and full fire compliance packages such as risk assessments.
  • Selling maintenance and new systems, offering tailored Fire Protection solutions to meet client needs. Technical knowledge is not mandatory, but experience with FIA or BAFE companies is required.
  • Managing a targeted area with 20% of leads provided, while actively seeking new business opportunities. This is a sales role, not account management, and involves hunter and development activities as a Business Development Manager.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive fire compliance sales, achieve new business targets, win new clients, and expand existing accounts.
