Fiontar Group is looking for an exceptional EHS Systems Auditor to join our growing team.
This is not a traditional Health & Safety Advisor role.
We are looking for someone with the experience, confidence and technical ability to undertake in-depth management systems audits across major construction, data centre and industrial projects throughout UK, Ireland and Europe.
Working directly with our CEO and EHS Manager, you will lead detailed audits that assess not only compliance, but the effectiveness, maturity and implementation of health, safety and environmental management systems.
The successful candidate must be capable of challenging senior management teams, identifying systemic weaknesses and producing reports that drive real organisational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant legislation.
- Review company procedures, policies and governance arrangements.
- Evaluate risk management processes and high‑risk work activities.
- Carry out site verification audits to confirm implementation.
- Review RAMS, permits, temporary works, lifting operations and contractor management systems.
- Interview directors, project managers and operational teams.
- Produce high‑quality reports with practical recommendations.
- Present audit findings to senior client leadership teams.
- Support the continued development of Fiontar Group’s audit methodology.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or industrial HSEQ.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Strong understanding of ISO 45001 management systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Irish and UK H&S legislation.
- Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Full driving licence.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience within hyperscale data centres.
- What We’re Looking For
This role is suited to someone who genuinely enjoys auditing and wants to raise standards rather than simply identify non‑compliances.
You’ll be analytical, commercially aware and capable of producing reports that clients value.
You’ll have the confidence to work alongside senior leaders while maintaining complete independence and professional integrity.
If you’re looking for a role where your opinion genuinely influences major projects and organisational performance, we’d like to hear from you.
