We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IFA Administrator to join our team in North London. In this pivotal role, you will support the onboarding, submission, and ongoing servicing of a wide range of financial plans and policies. You will act as a key point of coordination between our Advisers, Paraplanners, and clients to ensure seamless case processing and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Processing: Submit various forms of new business (Pensions, ISAs, GIAs, Protection) following company procedures, including creating CommPay lodgements and setting up initial investments.
- Case Management: Monitor case status and ensure plans progress smoothly to transfer or completion.
- Client & Adviser Support: Liaise directly with clients and advisers to provide updates on timescales and send out essential documentation like application summaries and contract notes.
- Data & Compliance: Maintain accurate records within Xplan (or similar back-office systems), ensuring all documentation is correctly categorised and that 'four-eyes' quality checks are conducted on all submissions.
- Revenue Management: Match initial and ongoing revenue payments and ensure data feeds are accurately linked to policies.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in an IFA administration or financial services support role is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial back-office systems (e.g., Xplan, Intelligent Office) and Microsoft Office.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and a commitment to maintaining compliance integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional client and provider liaison.
- Education: A strong foundation in Maths and English (GCSE grade B or above) is typically required.
