A long-standing partner of FinTop Consulting is hiring for a Mid-Level Azure-focused Data Engineer. You will be joining a lean data team, which will allow you to get stuck in, present new ideas as well as have the autonomy to do what you love doing! This position is heavy on the coding side due to the nature of the work, but it does come with its perks, for example; learning new AI & ML tools, as well as being part of the team integrating new analytical platforms.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be looking at existing code, finding those pain points, figuring out what it’s doing to then optimize and execute.
MUST HAVE SKILLS: NON-NEGOTIABLES
- ~5+ years in Data Engineering
- ~ Experience in Azure Synapse & Azure DL
- ~ Development in Python and maintenance of ETL Processes
- ~ Interesting in analytical platforms such as Microsoft Fabric.
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- ~1st stage – 30 minutes – Teams call – Technical dive with the Lead Engineer
- ~ Final stage – 90 minutes – F2F – Meet the team and Lead Engineer. Understanding the role, some tech conversations with a final discussion with the Technical Director to align expectations.
