About the Company: Our client is an established global forex brokerage and CFD trading company, recognised for innovation, technology-driven solutions, and a commitment to operational excellence. With a global footprint and a rapidly growing client base, the firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced financial director to join its leadership team.
Role Overview: As Finance Director, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing the company's financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. You will lead both local and international finance functions, ensure financial integrity across all markets, and play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the group financial strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.
- Oversee the preparation of group consolidated financial statements, management accounts, and reporting packs.
- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing analytical insight for strategic decisions.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing international finance team, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive commercial performance, manage costs, and optimise profitability.
- Oversee cash flow, treasury, and liquidity management, maintaining strong financial controls.
- Drive the implementation and enhancement of financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
- Support cross-border expansion, M&A, and strategic initiatives, providing financial leadership and due diligence.
- Conduct periodic international travel to align regional financial governance and operations.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven success as a senior finance leader within a complex, multinational organization, ideally in the forex, CFD, or trading industry.
- Experience in managing the financials/reporting of multiple entities (Must have).
- Strong understanding of MT4 / MT5 data and financial system integration (highly advantageous).
- Deep technical expertise in accounting, consolidation, and international financial regulations.
- Commercially strategic mindset with a record of driving performance and profitability.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic oversight and operational execution.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple regions.
