About the Company

Our client is a specialist commodity hedging firm supporting mid-sized businesses with risk management solutions across areas such as fuel and energy. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Dealer Manager to lead and develop their dealing function during its next phase of expansion.

About the Opportunity

This is a newly created leadership role. The existing team of 10–12 Dealers currently reports directly to senior leadership. With continued growth, there is now a need for dedicated management to provide structure, coaching, and performance oversight. The team is revenue-generating but largely junior. They require stronger direction, sales structure, market knowledge development, and performance management to elevate standards and sharpen commercial focus. This is a leadership position, not an individual contributor role. Commission will be based on overall team performance rather than personal sales production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full management responsibility for a team of 10–12 Dealers
  • Coach, mentor, and develop junior sales professionals
  • Strengthen knowledge across sales execution and commodity markets
  • Implement structured KPIs and performance management processes
  • Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture
  • Support the ongoing growth and scalability of the dealing function

Ideal Background

  • Strong leadership experience within commodities, hedging, or structured risk management environments
  • Alternatively, a proven FX sales leader working with mid-sized corporate clients
  • Demonstrated experience managing and improving junior sales teams
  • Strong commercial mindset with a focus on revenue growth and coaching
  • Ability to introduce structure, process, and accountability
  • Commodity knowledge is preferred; however, high-performing FX sales leaders with relevant client exposure will also be considered.
  • Leadership capability and performance-driving experience are the key requirements.
