Rate: £350 – £400 per day (Outside IR35)

About the Role:
We’re working with a leading B2B technology firm looking to bring in an experienced Contract Business Analyst to support delivery across complex systems, integrations, and transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working closely with engineering, product, and stakeholders to define, shape, and deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across multiple workstreams
- Work on complex systems and integrations (APIs, third-party platforms, legacy-modern system interactions)
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, data flows)
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA to ensure accurate delivery
- Support UAT, including test case creation and defect resolution
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process and system improvements
- Drive alignment between business goals and technical execution
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments
- Strong experience working on complex systems, integrations, and data flows
- Hands-on experience with API integrations, microservices, or distributed systems
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong documentation and requirement gathering skills
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart or similar
- Solid understanding of SDLC and delivery lifecycle
Key Requirements:
- Must be based within travelling distance of Salford, Manchester
- Able to work 2–3 days onsite per week
- Available to start immediately or within 1 week
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
