The firm focuses on supporting SME developers through tailored funding solutions and prides itself on expertise, agility, and long-term relationships.Working within an experienced Portfolio Management team, you’ll take ownership of a live loan book, ensuring projects are progressing as expected while proactively managing risk and supporting positive client outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor a portfolio of bridging and development finance loans from drawdown through to repaymentTrack construction progress, budgets, and key milestones across multiple projectsConduct site visits and engage directly with borrowers and professional partnersIdentify early warning signs (delays, cost overruns, sales risk) and take appropriate actionAnalyse cashflows and compare actual vs approved positionsSupport credit amendments, waivers, and restructuring where requiredProduce high-quality portfolio reports and contribute to internal committeesWork closely with Lending, Credit, and Risk teams to ensure effective portfolio oversightWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in property finance, development finance, or real estate lendingStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and project dataGood understanding of the UK bridging and refurb marketConfident communicator, able to manage both internal and external stakeholdersOrganised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions simultaneouslyDesirable:Exposure to construction or development monitoringExperience working with borrowers, surveyors, or professional advisorsWhy Apply?Salary up to 60,000 + bonusHybrid working modelJoin a growing and well-capitalised lenderStrong pipeline of deals and active portfolioClear opportunity to develop into a Senior Portfolio Manager roleAbout Fintelligent SearchWe specialise in connecting top talent with leading financial services firms across the UK.
