Job Description Direct exposure to senior leadership team | Ownership of the finance function | Influence over systems and controls | Real Estate Finance If you’re a qualified accountant looking for broader ownership and genuine exposure to senior decision-making, this Financial Controller role offers the opportunity to lead the day-to-day finance function within a growing financial services business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll have autonomy across financial control, reporting, forecasting and finance operations, while helping develop the systems, processes and team needed to support continued growth. Annual discretionary bonus You’ll join an established, financial services group operating across multiple jurisdictions. The business specialises in real estate lending and has ambitious plans to grow both its existing platforms and wider capabilities. Lead financial control and reporting, including year-end and interim audits, technical accounting and statutory obligations. Own reporting to banks, funders and other stakeholders, including covenant compliance, financial statements and performance reporting. Lead cash management, finance operations, budgeting and forecasting across a multi-entity environment. Develop finance systems, controls and automation while managing the finance team and supporting the CFO on strategic initiatives. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with practice training followed by financial services industry experience. Experience leading or managing core areas of a finance function within a complex, multi-entity environment. Strong financial control and technical accounting experience, with lending, structured finance or asset-backed exposure advantageous.
