Fintelligent is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Real Estate Finance Associate into its London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior real estate finance lawyer to join a highly regarded and growing practice acting on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions. The team advises a broad range of lenders and borrowers across the full spectrum of real estate asset classes, offering exposure to high-value, structured and development-led financings.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a varied and fast-moving workload, gaining significant responsibility and client exposure early in their career.
Work on a broad range of real estate finance transactions, including:
- Development finance
- Investment and acquisition finance
- Hotel and leisure finance
- PRS (Private Rented Sector) financing
- Student accommodation finance
- Logistics and office sector financings
- Islamic finance and mezzanine structures
Act for both lenders (including banks, debt funds and insurers) and borrowers (including investors, developers and property companies).
Draft, review and negotiate finance and security documentation.
Support partners and senior associates on complex, structured real estate finance deals.
Assist with cross-border and multi-jurisdictional financing transactions.
1+ year PQE gained in a real estate finance or broader banking/finance practice.
Strong academic record.
Solid understanding of general finance principles and transaction structures.
Experience working on real estate finance transactions is essential.
