If you’re an experienced

Loan Manager looking for more ownership across bridging and development finance, this role offers the chance to underwrite, structure and manage property-backed transactions from first enquiry through to redemption.

You’ll join a growing specialist lender where your commercial judgement will matter.

The role offers autonomy, direct borrower contact, and a balanced hybrid pattern with three days in the Liverpool office and two days from home.

About the Company

You’ll be joining a specialist property lender with a practical, commercially minded approach to bridging and development finance.

The business values sensible lending decisions, clear communication, and long-term borrower relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite bridging finance and development finance transactions, assessing borrower strength, security, exit strategy and overall risk.
  • Structure and negotiate property-backed lending deals so they are commercially viable, deliverable and aligned with credit appetite.
  • Present lending proposals to credit committee with clear rationale, risk analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage borrower relationships across the full loan lifecycle, from enquiry and completion through to drawdown, monitoring and redemption.

About You

  • Experience in bridging finance, development finance or specialist property lending.
  • Strong background in underwriting, structuring and managing property-backed lending transactions.
  • Experience presenting lending proposals to credit committee and managing borrower or broker relationships.
