If you're an experienced Technical Claims Handler looking to build on your liability and motor claims expertise, this is an opportunity to join a growing claims organisation where your technical knowledge is recognised and rewarded.
Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from an uncapped monthly bonus with recent earnings exceeding £1,000 for some team members.
You'll manage technically challenging motor claims from start to finish, giving you the autonomy to make informed liability decisions while working within a collaborative team that genuinely values career progression, continuous improvement, and high standards of customer service.
Package & Benefits
- Salary of £24,000 to £26,500 per annum, depending on experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
- Uncapped monthly bonus, typically ranging from £150 to £800, with recent enhanced incentives seeing earnings exceed £1,000 per month.
- Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation and once fully competent in the role.
- 25 days' annual leave, increasing to 27 days with service, plus Bank Holidays.
- £750 loyalty bonus after three years' service.
- Attendance bonus, referral scheme, regular staff incentives, wellbeing programme, Dress Down Fridays, and free onsite parking.
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of technically complex motor claims, investigating liability and driving claims through to commercial resolution.
- Negotiate liability, settlements, and recoveries with Third Party Insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Build effective relationships with insurers, solicitors, brokers, engineers, repairers, and other key stakeholders throughout the claims journey.
- Maintain accurate claim records while ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and internal procedures.
About You
- Previous experience handling motor claims with responsibility for liability investigations and decision making.
- Experience negotiating liability and settlements with Third Party Insurers and managing recoveries.
- Background within motor insurance, claims management, accident management, credit hire, legal motor claims, or a similar motor claims environment.
