We’re working with a leading financial services provider who are expanding their Bridging Legal Team and are looking for a Legal Transactions Executive to support their fast-growing bridging finance product.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a legal environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven role and wants exposure to complex property finance transactions.
The role
You’ll play a key part in supporting bridging finance transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring legal risk is properly managed and transactions are delivered efficiently. Working closely with Underwriting, Operations, and senior stakeholders, you’ll help coordinate due diligence, prepare and review documentation, and ensure all pre-completion requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with the coordination and management of due diligence on bridging finance transactions
- Supporting the approval and preparation of bridging loan facility and security documents
- Preparing documentation including conveyance instructions, tranche letters and covering correspondence
- Liaising with Underwriting to ensure all pre-conditions are satisfied prior to completion
- Working closely with teams across the business, including Regional Directors, Underwriting and Operations
- Escalating legal or transactional issues to the BTLT Manager where appropriate
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in an office-based role, ideally within legal services.
- Law related degree
- Exposure to Lending, specifically bridging finance or property finance is beneficial, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation of process and risk
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to use initiative and speak up when something doesn’t look right
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
