If you're a Legal Counsel looking to build broad in-house experience while working on complex finance transactions, this 12-month fixed-term opportunity offers genuine variety and the chance to develop your expertise across a specialist lending business.

About the Company

You'll be joining a well-established specialist asset-based lender with a collaborative culture and a highly visible Legal and Compliance function.

The team works closely with stakeholders across the business, providing the opportunity to broaden your legal expertise in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support on invoice finance and asset finance transactions, including reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation.
  • Advise stakeholders on security structures, lending transactions and associated legal risk.
  • Review commercial contracts and support legal matters across the wider business, including recoveries and external adviser management.
  • Assist with transaction management to help ensure efficient completion of client facilities.

About You

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in banking and finance law gained in private practice or an in-house legal team.
  • Knowledge of lending transactions, ideally including invoice finance, asset finance or wider asset-based lending.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial legal documentation.
