Overview
We are working with a leading financial services provider who are expanding their Bridging Legal Team and are looking for a Legal Transactions Executive to support their fast-growing bridging finance product. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a legal environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven role and wants exposure to complex property finance transactions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the coordination and management of due diligence on bridging finance transactions
- Supporting the approval and preparation of bridging loan facility and security documents
- Preparing documentation including conveyance instructions, tranche letters and covering correspondence
- Liaising with Underwriting to ensure all pre-conditions are satisfied prior to completion
- Working closely with teams across the business, including Regional Directors, Underwriting and Operations
- Escalating legal or transactional issues to the BTLT Manager where appropriate
What we are looking for
- Experience working in an office-based role, ideally within legal services.
- Law related degree
- Exposure to Lending, specifically bridging finance or property finance is beneficial, but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation of process and risk
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to use initiative and speak up when something doesn’t look right
- Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
