A growing UK-based financial services business is looking to hire a Marketing Specialist to support the delivery of its marketing strategy across communications, sales support, digital channels, CRM, events, and market intelligence. Working closely with the marketing team and wider business, this role will play a key part in strengthening brand presence, improving customer engagement, and supporting commercial growth through data-led and creative marketing activity. The Package for the Marketing Specialist:

Key duties for the Marketing Specialist:

  • Market Research & Intelligence
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
  • Produce and distribute weekly market intelligence reports for senior stakeholders
  • Support the development of structured reporting and enhanced weekly performance insights
  • Plan and deliver internal and external events, including industry expos, exhibitions, webinars, and online events
  • Manage venue sourcing, bookings, travel, and accommodation
  • Coordinate internal planning, communications, and logistics
  • Support post-event analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the annual marketing and events strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, partners, and key industry contacts
  • Maintain accurate rate data and market information across relevant portals
  • Track, report, and analyse networking activity to inform marketing strategy
  • Manage and maintain the customer database, ensuring data accuracy and effective segmentation
  • Oversee the customer journey within the CRM to maximise engagement and retention
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including data management, distribution, and performance analysis
  • Support delivery of a high-quality customer experience aligned with company values
  • Manage company social media channels and develop engaging content and campaigns
  • Track performance, engagement, and ROI, producing regular reports
  • Collaborate with design and web support on creative content and marketing materials
  • Support content creation across traditional and non-traditional platforms, including video and social-first formats

Experience needed for the Marketing Specialist:

  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in a marketing role - with strong writing skills
  • Experience across content creation, digital marketing, social media, CRM, or events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Confident working with internal stakeholders and external partners

Desirable:
