Corporate Banking Manager in Birmingham

Corporate portfolio growth | £5m–£100m debt facilities | Mid-Corporate lending | Regional influence If you’re an experienced Corporate Banking Manager with strong Mid-Corporate lending experience, this opportunity offers the chance to manage and grow a significant corporate portfolio while developing new client relationships across the East Midlands. You’ll combine relationship management, origination and complex debt structuring, with the autonomy to influence the regional market and work closely with senior stakeholders across the bank. Package & Benefits • Salary £90,000–£115,000 per annum. • Discretionary annual bonus. • Generous holiday allowance, pension, healthcare and life assurance. About the Company You’ll join an established UK bank with a relationship-led approach to corporate banking. The business places strong emphasis on customer relationships, collaboration, responsible lending and developing colleagues internally. Key Responsibilities • Manage and grow a portfolio of Corporate customers while originating new business across the East Midlands. • Structure and deliver tailored debt facilities typically ranging from £5m–£100m for Mid-Corporate businesses. • Build influential relationships with clients, professional advisers and key market contacts to strengthen regional presence. • Lead the end-to-end credit, risk and stakeholder management required to deliver sustainable corporate lending solutions. About You • Proven experience managing and growing a Corporate or Mid-Corporate lending portfolio. • Strong experience in credit writing, financial analysis, underwriting and structuring complex debt solutions. • Track record of lending to Mid-Corporates and influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
