Senior Business Development Manager | Bridging Finance
Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Package: Base salary dependent on experience, uncapped highly competitive performance-related earnings & car allowance.
Your broker relationships open doors. This is an opportunity to put them at the centre of a growing specialist lender’s origination strategy. Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to build and grow its broker-led bridging finance business across London & surrounding areas.
The opportunity
You will combine personal origination with the opportunity to influence how the business develops. You will have ownership of your broker panel, remain involved throughout the transaction and contribute to product and pricing discussions. This will suit an established bridging finance professional who wants more influence and enjoys building business rather than relying on inbound enquiries.
Your responsibilities
- Originate bridging finance through your London broker, packager and introducer network.
- Win new relationships and deepen existing accounts through regular, meaningful engagement.
- Build a segmented broker panel and a consistently reported, forecastable pipeline.
- Work alongside underwriting to progress transactions from first conversation to completion.
- Represent the business at broker meetings, conferences and industry events.
- Share market feedback with the leadership team and support the development of future BDM hires.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrable success originating bridging or short-term property finance.
- An established London / South broker network, with larger packager and network relationships advantageous.
- The ability to assess a deal’s fundamentals, including security, leverage, borrower profile and exit.
- Commercial judgement, personal accountability and a hands‑on approach.
