Key Responsibilities

  • Provide whole-of-market (or regulated panel) advisory services on residential and buy-to-let mortgages, alongside protection products.
  • Manage client relationships from initial consultation through to completion, ensuring full regulatory compliance and seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive fact-finds to assess client affordability, requirements, and risk profiles.
  • Liaise directly with underwriters, business development managers, estate agents, and solicitors to expedite applications.
  • Maintain complete compliance with FCA guidelines, TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles, and internal quality standards.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent recognised UK mortgage qualification) is essential.
  • Experience: Proven track record as a regulated Mortgage Broker/Adviser within the UK market.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, rapport-building, and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail in compliant record-keeping.
