Our client is a leading Invoice Finance lender currently in growth phase. They are a highly commercial business with a can-do attitude and have a real appetite to lend money. They support SMEs across a wide range of sectors, delivering fast, flexible, and tailored funding solutions designed to meet each business’s unique cash-flow needs through a variety of lending products.
We now have an exciting opportunity to join them as a Relationship Manager. This is a fantastic role within the team and you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of invoice finance clients from a variety of different sectors with the occasional ABL lend. The role offers hybrid working but will be looking after a portfolio of clients across the North.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of strategy and delivering excellent operational services to your portfolio of customers whilst effectively managing the risk.
- Client meetings to build and strengthen relationships and deliver on service.
- Analysis and recommendation on facility increases.
- Having strong personal risk expertise and being able to identify and maintain exit strategies where appropriate.
- Monitoring client’s financial performance, identifying sales opportunities and conducting risk analysis.
- Completing facility reviews, underwriting where necessary, and adhering to risk frameworks.
- Ensuring customers are treated fairly and in accordance with standards while maintaining high levels of service to both internal and external customers.
Experience required:
- Experience within Invoice Finance as an experienced Relationship Manager or Client Manager.
- Strong knowledge around Invoice Finance.
- Great attention to detail, time and account management.
- Strong credit ability, understanding the principles of lending and legal obligations of the product.
- Experience reading and understanding financial information and projections.
- High levels of commercial awareness.
- Team working and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving license.
