Within this role, you will act as the vital bridge between Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the complex world of business lending. Your primary goal is to secure the most competitive and appropriate funding solutions to help businesses grow, manage cash flow, or acquire assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the clients' business objectives and challenges and creating strategic recommendations based off of this understanding. You will do so by building a strong relationship with our clients and analyzing our clients' data. Essentially, you will act as the main point of contact for our clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage internal stakeholders, delivering a world-class service on all leads provided.
- Client Consultation: Meet with SME owners to understand their business model, financial health, and specific funding requirements (e.g., expansion, working capital, or M&A).
- Maintain a deep, up-to-date knowledge of the lending landscape, including high street banks, challenger banks and alternative lenders.
- Oversee the process from the initial enquiry through to the drawdown of funds.
