Our client is a growing alternative business finance provider to SMEs based in Manchester City Centre, specialising in offering tailored lending solutions to help with cashflow. Due to recent promotions in the team, we are now looking for an additional Credit Controller to join the fast-paced and dynamic team.
As a Credit Controller, you’ll play a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring smooth cashflow, and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers and their customers. You’ll be responsible for:
- Verifying invoices
- Ensuring payment terms are adhered to
- Minimising debtor days
- Identifying risks early and resolving disputes
- Supporting the wider operations and risk teams to maintain portfolio quality
This is a full-time, permanent role which offers hybrid working after the training and onboarding period, during which you’ll be expected to be in the office full time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day credit control for a portfolio of clients
- Monitoring debtor ledgers and escalating potential issues promptly
- Working closely with the Operations and Risk teams to identify and mitigate potential credit risks
- Producing regular reports on aged debt and cash collection performance
