The Role
You'll manage a portfolio of customers, working proactively with businesses to achieve positive outcomes when accounts fall into arrears. Taking a professional, empathetic and commercial approach, you'll balance excellent customer service with effective collections activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound and outbound collections activity
- Contacting customers to discuss overdue accounts and agree suitable repayment arrangements
- Building positive relationships while maintaining regulatory and company standards
- Negotiating realistic payment solutions
- Accurately updating customer records and documenting all activity
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider business to achieve the best customer outcomes
- Identifying accounts requiring escalation where appropriate
