My client is a highly successful, fast-growing commercial finance and advisory business with an established footprint of offices, a successful and highly regarded funding team, and a strong national footprint. As the business continues to grow, they're looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Banking Specialist to further develop their presence in Scotland.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an established relationship banker, commercial finance broker or funding specialist with a strong network, who enjoys winning new business and delivering tailored funding solutions. Working with one of the UK's most extensive lending panels, you'll be responsible for identifying funding opportunities through your network, understanding clients' requirements and placing transactions with the most appropriate lender. Rather than being restricted to a single bank's appetite, you'll have access to an exceptional range of funding products and lenders, enabling you to provide truly independent, best-fit funding solutions.

You'll be encouraged to leverage your existing network whilst continuing to build relationships with accountants, solicitors, professional introducers and business owners across the Scottish market, supported by an experienced based team and a well-established national business.

Facilities arranged will typically include:

  • Commercial Mortgages
  • Working Capital Facilities
  • Asset Finance
  • Invoice Finance
  • Development Finance
  • Bridging Finance
  • Cash Flow Lending
  • Acquisition & Growth Funding

The role offers genuine flexibility, combining home working, client meetings and time in the office, giving you the autonomy to manage your own diary while benefiting from the support and expertise of an experienced team.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience within Commercial Banking, SME Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Finance or Funding Advisory.
  • A well-established network of professional introducers and/or SME clients.
  • A proven track record of generating new business and building long-term client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lending products and funding structures.
  • Ability to assess client requirements and source the most appropriate funding solutions through a broad lender panel.
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and driven by delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Why join?

  • Strong base salary and benefits package.
  • An industry-leading uncapped commission scheme, paid quarterly—one of the strongest remuneration structures we've seen for an employed Commercial Finance Broker.
  • Access to one of the UK's broadest lender panels, enabling you to offer truly market-leading funding solutions.
  • Join an established, successful team backed by a respected national business.
  • Genuine autonomy, hybrid working and the flexibility to build your own client portfolio.
  • Excellent long-term career progression within a business that continues to invest and grow.

If you're an experienced Commercial Banker, Relationship Manager or Funding Specialist looking to join a business where your network, expertise and ambition will be genuinely rewarded, I'd love to hear from you.
