Job Title: Collections Executive – Full-Time

Location: Altrincham (Office-Based)

About the Role:

We’re working exclusively with a dynamic and fast-growing commercial finance provider based in Altrincham to recruit a full-time Collections Executive.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with 2–3 years’ experience in a bank, lender or financial services business, looking to build their career in a client-focused, commercial environment. Strong communication skills and telephone experience are key, and while collections or credit control experience is beneficial, it is not essential.

As a Collections Executive, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, ensuring effective and professional collections activity, while also having the opportunity to get involved in broader areas of the business, such as sales support and customer onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing collections activity across a portfolio of business customers
  • Monitoring accounts for arrears and missed payments
  • Contacting customers by phone and email to resolve overdue balances in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Maintaining accurate records of all interactions and agreed actions
  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth client experience and portfolio health
  • Supporting additional areas of the business as required (e.g., operations, sales support)

About You:

  • Graduate-level with 2–3 years’ experience in a bank, lender, or financial services company
  • Strong telephone and communication skills, with experience dealing directly with customers
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and commercially minded
  • Experience in collections or credit control is advantageous, but not essential
  • Comfortable using internal systems and keeping accurate records
